MARTIN Kristjansen has warned Amir Khan to get ready for a war on Saturday night.

The Bolton boxer meets the experienced Dane in an eliminator for the WBO lightweight belt at the Bolton Arena.

And Kristjansen, who has never been stopped and has won 19 of his 23 fights, says he has the tools to inflict Khan's first defeat.

"He is saying this will be the easiest fight of his career, and if he believes that then he is going to be in for a big surprise on the night," said the 30-year-old.

"I've trained for a long hard fight so he had better be prepared. He might think that he can stop me inside three rounds and I will let him carry on thinking that.

"Khan is the big star in Britain and wants to fight for the world title, but he won't be getting past me. I've seen his last three fights and I'm not impressed.

"He is strong and fast but is still young and doesn't have the experience that I have. I will expose him."

The two were due to meet in February when the Dane withdrew due to illness. Gairy St Clair stepped in to meet Khan who produced a superb performance to beat the former IBF super-featherweight champion.

If Khan wins on Saturday, efforts could be stepped up to help the Olympic silver medallist become the youngest British world champion of all time.

That could mean a clash with either WBA, IBF and WBO champion, Nate Campbell, or fellow American and WBC title holder, David Diaz, in the not-too-distant future.
