AMIR Khan admits he saves his best for Bolton.

The 21-year-old star has fought three times in his hometown before, and each time he has knocked his opponent out in the first round.

Khan takes on Martin Kristjansen in a WBO lightweight title eliminator at Bolton Arena tonight.

And the Olympic silver medallist is promising another explosive display against the experienced Dane in his toughest test so far.

"You can't beat fighting in Bolton - it's always big," said Khan, who stopped David Bailey, Ryan Barrett and Graham Earl in quickfire fashion in front of his home crowd. "I want to beat him in style.

"All my fights in Bolton have finished in the first round - and that's because my home crowd are there supporting me."
