SWANSEA City were scratching their heads about some refereeing decisions made by Chris Foy recently, so imagine their surprise when he turned up on their doorstep to analyse whether he was right or wrong.

Garry Monk was incensed about some of the things that went on in the recent game against Sunderland, and I agree, there were a few wrong calls.

Angel Rangel should never have been sent off, Ashley Williams got a yellow card for absolutely nothing and Swansea didn’t get a penalty when they should have done.

The referee’s body, the PGMOL, send out officials on club visits from time to time to analyse incidents.

But why did they choose Foy, pictured, of all people to do their visit just a couple of days after he had got all that wrong? It doesn’t make sense.

Swansea were really unhappy and I don’t blame them.

You have to question what thinking goes on at the top level of the game sometimes.
