Running man's Marathon charity effort

RUNNING man Mark Hanna will be putting his best foot forward in support of the British Heart Foundation.

Mark, who works for Orbit Developments, owned by Emerson - the organisation behind Middlebrook Retail and Leisure Park - is to run the London Marathon.

He spent Good Friday training at the Horwich-based leisure park, which has adopted the British Heart Foundation as its charity of the year.

Mark has already raised £500 and is hoping to boost that to £2,000.

He said: "In the past I have supported Cancer Research and Children with Leukaemia. The British Heart Foundation is an extremely worthy cause, I hope I can raise substantial amount of money to help those suffering from heart disease."

Middlebrook marketing executive, Heather Crank-Ingham said: "We are incredibly proud to be supporting the British Heart Foundation and thrilled that Mark is helping to support Middlebrook's cause."
