RADCLIFFE AC's Donna Cartwright showed her form again when she was top woman in the Clayton Vale Trail 5k at Newton Heath, Manchester.
It was the first time the multi-terrain event had been run and Cartwright was 10th overall out of 40 runners with an excellent time of 20.46 in a field including the legendary marathon runner Ron Hill.
Cartwright was also on form when she clocked 20.03 in the Vera Hurst 5k at Littleborough. Husband Mark ran 22. 15.Meanwhile, Peter Potter took to the fells on in the 21-mile Edale Skyline. The event included 4,500 feet of climbing and runners enjoyed better conditions than last year when it snowed. Potter clocked 4hrs 21mins 30 secs, and was 60th out of 254 competitors.

The 6k Muddy March Hare multi-terrain event at Moses Gate Country Park, lived up to its name. Mark Williams led the Radcliffe runners home in 25.54. Mike Cunliffe ran 26.09, Kevin Curran 27.57 Carl Cunliffe 28.33 Jim Sutcliffe 32.01 and Denise Sutcliffe 36.55, coming home as first V50.
On the roads four club members took on the popular but tough Wilmslow Half Marathon with Neil Kirby completing a fine run in 1hr 23mins 25 secs. Danny Appleby clocked 1.28.12, David Bartlett 1.35.54 and Yasmin Parapia 1.54.19.
In the Burnley 10k, lone Radcliffe runner improving Mark Emmett ran 47.16.
