HAROON Khan is promising fight fans there is much more to come after a sparkling American debut on Saturday night.

The 22-year-old younger brother of Bolton superstar Amir Khan took just 57 seconds to stop Vincente Medellin in Atlantic City in only his second bout as a professional.

Bantamweight Khan knocked down the 25-year-old California-based fighter twice before winning by virtue of a knockout to take his fledgling career record to two wins from two fights inside just three weeks.

The 2010 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist is not about to slow up as he aims to race towards a British title shot.

Khan said: “I always said I would put in a brilliant performance over in America and that’s what I did. I saw the opening and took it early on and I knew he was hurt.

“I showed America what I am all about.

“Hopefully, this is just the breaking of the ice and there are many more wins to come. I think it’s a bright future.”
