SCOTT Quigg put in another scintillating display in a successful fourth defence of his WBA super bantamweight world title in Manchester tonight and then stated his desire to take on IBF champion Carl Frampton next.

In front of a decent home crowd at the Phones 4u Arena, Quigg took less then three rounds to stop Belgian Stephane Jamoye and extend his unbeaten run to 31 fights..

He withstood early pressure from a lively opponent in the first two rounds but was assured in his game-plan, landing good shots in reply.

And he put that into effect in the third with a sucession of body shots with both right and left hand.

And when he landed a superb right to Jamoye's midrift, the Belgian was down and even though he managed to eventually get up, referee Terry O'Connor called a halt to proceedings.

Quigg was natuarlly happy with his display and reiterated the fact Frampton was next on his hitlist.

He said: "Frampton is the fight I want next and we all do.

"We need to sit down and get that fight on."

Trainer Joe Gallagher believes there will only be one winner if the unification fight does take place.

Gallagher added: "Scott has powere with both hands and Carl Frampton will not be able to deal with that."
