HALLIWELL ABC boxer Jack Flatley has been called up for the England men’s team to compete in the GB Senior Three Nations competition.
The event will take place at the Magna Science and Adventure Centre in Rotherham on Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24.
Flatley, aged 20, from Farnworth, will compete in the 75kg category.
The rising star, who trains at Elite Boxing Club, has been in superb form after reaching the final of the Amateur Boxing Association national elite amateur championships.
He stunned his rivals when he got to the last two of the biggest seniors event in the country.
Flatley qualified for the final rounds at Liverpool's Echo Arena after winning the North West title.
He will be joined at the Three Nations event by Bury’s Muhammad Ali in the 52kg category.
