A HOST of local boxers continue their hunt for national glory in the schoolboy championships this weekend.
The lads are in quarter-final action at the Reebok Stadium on Sunday.
Kane Roberts (Rumworth & Hulton), Sean Connor (Leigh), Khaleel Majid (Bridgewater Salford), Adam Ridge (Leigh), Sahir Iqbal (Bury), Reece Smith (Bridgewater Salford), Jack Lloyd (Pool of Life), Hassan Mahmood (Bury) and Ibrahim Shah (Gloves) will represent the North West against their Tyne Tees counterparts.
Reece Jones (Gloves) and Michael Connor (Leigh) have received walkovers.
