Bury super-bantamweight Scott Quigg stopped Ukrainian Nikita Lukin after just 57 seconds of their bout in Stoke.
The 21-year-old was in devastating form and enthused: “I made a statement with that victory — I didn’t expect to have him out of there so quickly. He has never been stopped in 30 fights so to finish him like that was fantastic.”
