A SUMMER showdown between Amir Khan and Ricky Hatton appears less likely amid reports that Hatton has told friends he may not fight again.
Hatton was previously believed to be keen to fight Bolton hero Khan who said after his last WBA light-welterweight world title win that a fight with Hatton, who was on the wrong end of a second-round knockout by Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas 10 months ago, was a possibility in the summer.
Khan’s focus is on his next fight against New Yorker Paulie Malignaggi at Madison Square Garden which has been confirmed for May 15.
Khan and Malignaggi will hold a press conference in London on Friday.
