The world of boxing is raving over the latest performance by Bolton sensation Amir Khan.
He went 12 rounds against Gairy St Clair tonight, the longest distance he has ever fought.
And ITV commentator Jim Rosenthal led the tributes: "That was absolute perfection," he said.
Promoter Frank Warren said: "That was 10 out of 10, no 12 out of 12."
And former world champ and pundit Barry McGuigan added: "He might not be a world class puncher, but he's a world class fighter. He was brilliant."
Amir himself was slightly more downbeat although obviously delighted with his Commonwealth title triumph.
He said: "I've always wanted to do 12 rounds. I enjoyed it and learned more from this fight than knocking somebody out in the first round."
