REIGNING Bolton League champions Little Lever will play Heaton in the final of this year's Thwaites Hamer Cup after two big upsets in today's semi-finals.
Little Lever won by 17 runs at current league leaders Farnworth Social Circle depsite being bowled out for 114.
Heaton, who have not won the Hamer Cup since 1951, followed up a stunning win over high-flying Westhoughton in the league yesterday with a resounding eight-wicket victory at home to Horwich.
Thwaites Hamer Cup results:
Farnworth Social Circle 97 Little Lever 114. Little Lever won by 17 runs.
Heaton 157-2 Horwich 156. Heaton won by 8 wkts.
