A TALENTED cricketer has had plenty of reasons to celebrate recently.
Josh Bohannon lived a childhood ambition recently when the member of Lancashire Academy took to 12th man duties for the first team during their LV County Championship win over Kent.
The ex-Farnworth Social Circle player has recently made a name for himself when playing for the Red Rose second-string side against a combined North Staffordshire and South Cheshire side.
Lancs were in trouble when Bohannon was joined by Ashley Gowers in a sixth wicket partnership which took the score to 136 in the 38th over.
Bohannon hit a maiden century on his way to a knock of 113 and Lancs won the tie by seven runs.
The 18-year-old was named the Lancashire County Cricket Club Young Player of the Year last season after he was a key member of the successful LCB Under-17s team that won the Royal London Under-17 Cup and shared the county championship with Surrey.
