THE draw has been made for the Bolton Cricket League's inaugural Peter Stafford Memorial Trophy to be held this year.
The new 40-over competition will be played on Sundays and will be held in addition to the long-established 50-over Hamer Cup.
The Peter Stafford Memorial Trophy will take the form of a group stage initially and the groups have been drawn as follows:
Group One: Little Hulton, Horwich, Darcy Lever and Westhoughton.
Group Two: Farnworth, Bradshaw, Farnworth Social Circle and Eagley.
Group Three: Little Lever, Blackrod, Walkden, Atherton and Heaton.
The match dates are:
May 15: May Heaton v Walkden.
May 22: Blackrod v Heaton, Little Lever v Atherton.
June 12: Atherton v Blackrod.
Jun 19: Little Hulton v Darcy Lever, Horwich v Westhoughton, Farnworth v Bradshaw, Farnworth SC v Eagley, Blackrod v Little Lever, Walkden v Atherton.
July 10: Westhoughton v Little Hulton, Horwich v Darcy Lever, Bradshaw v Eagley, Farnworth SC v Farnworth, Heaton v Little Lever, Walkden v Blackrod.
July 31: Little Hulton v Horwich, Darcy Lever v Westhoughton, Bradshaw v Farnworth SC, Eagley v Farnworth, Little Lever v Walkden, Atherton v Heaton.
