BOLTON cricketing trio Megan Fairclough, Bhumika Doshi and Nalisha Patel helped Lancashire Women's team beat Middlesex to secure a second win in Women's T20 Division One.
It was a boost for skipper Fairclough, of Egerton CC, after a heartbreaking defeat to Nottinghamshire in the other match of their double header.
Against Nottinghamshire, they batted first and posted 98-9 with Egerton's Doshi and Horwich RMI's Patel making vital contributions before Lancashire lost on the penultimate ball in the second innings.
Against Middlesex, Lancashire posted 115-4 and this time they bowled out their opponents for 96 with Patel taking 2-12 from her four overs.
The team have another double headers against Sussex and Warwickshire on July 17.
