KEARSLEY reached the semi-finals of the Dixon Air Conditioning Twenty20 with a comfortable win against Farnworth.

Grant Cordin hit a half century for Kearsley and Faisil Iqbal, Chris Baxendale and Faisal Hussain all chipped in with scores of more than 20 out of 160-9. Nakash Qumar, professional Dinuka Hettiarachchi and Adil Nisar all took three wickets.

Farnworth's reply fell 32 runs short, despite Matthew Hicks and Neil Hyde sharing 50 runs.

Cordin followed up his 55 runs with 3-22 and Jack Scott took 3-24.

Bradshaw will take their place in tomorrow's semi-final against Westhoughton after beating Farnworth Social Circle.

After losing two early wickets, Jake Scicluna with 53 and Ryan Aires 42 helped Social Circle to 127-5. Jordan Mason was again Bradshaw's leading bowler with 3-17.

A quickfire 48 from opening batsman Atiq-Uz-Zaman put Bradshaw on their way and a half century partnership between Nick Lester and Rob Hardman sealed victory in the last over.

Bradshaw are at home to Westhoughton tomorrow with Kearsley hosting Lostock in the other last-four tie at the same time.

Both matches start at 6.15pm with Tuesday 19th July the reserve date.
