EAGLEY progressed to Round Two of the revived Cross Cup after a 131-run against Daisy Hill on Sunday.
Batting first, the Dunscar side amassed a sizeable 278-6 from their 45 overs with Will Shuttleworth (58) and Jack Wainman (56) both hitting half-centuries.
Openers Michael Ward (42) and Joe Baldwin (46) provided a good base with a partnership of 73 for the first wicket and they built well from there.
The pick of the Daisy bowling attack were Neil Tong (2-26) and Stephen Hodgkinson (2-28) but they could not prevent a big total for Eagley.
In reply, Tong scored 30 and Adnan Raees weighed in with 28 but it was always going to be a big ask for Daisy to surpass their target.
And they were bowled out for 147 with Craig Massey taking 3-20.
Meanwhile, in Greater Manchester Cricket League Division Two, leaders Astley and Tyldesley made it back-to-back weekend wins with a two-wicket triumph at Westleigh.
Skipper Jimmy Cutt was again in the wickets with 3-48 and he was aided by Chris Ware (3-24) and Jordan O'Malley (2-23) as the hosts were bowled out for just 134.
It was not all plain sailing in reply for A&T with home bowler Connor Andrews taking 5-31 from seven overs.
But captain Cutt scored 52 to help the table-toppers to 135-8 and a second league victory in 48 hours.
