WALSHAW Cricket Club have signed former Standish all-rounder David Bowden as their new professional.
Bowden is a left-arm spin bowler and middle-order batsman and will strengthen the Bolton Association side.
Rob Faulkner has stepped down as captain and Mikey Watt has taken on the top job while Jamie Pilling has left to join Ramsbottom.
Elsewhere, Elton CC have signed Toby Bulcock as their professional with Mark Penny taking on the paid role at Spring View after leaving Little Hulton.
Australian all-rounder Daniel Salpietro has re-signed for a second summer with Atherton.
