Bolton Clarion members Alan Collier and Paul Hackin have completed the 766 miles Paris to Brest ride
Alan finished the journey in 81hrs 55mins while Paul arrived in Brest after 82 hrs 25 minutes.
They started on a Monday evening and finished on Friday morning and endured the worst weather for the event in more than 50 years.
Of the 6,000 starters, 1,200 either gave up or were eliminated by the half-way checkpoint.
Another 800 failed to make the third-from-last checkpoint on time and were also eliminated. Their gruelling journey also saw them climb 10,000 metres.
Alan and Paul were on hand at the Clarion Christmas dinner at the Thatch and Thistle in Adlington to show off their ride tops.
