FARNWORTH cyclist Jason Kenny needs an improved showing if he is to get a chance to book himself a place at the Olympics.
A full house is expected for the final event of the action-packed Revolution Series, which takes place at the Manchester Velodrome tomorrow, and the teenager faces a three-way battle for the one remaining spot in the Great Britain team for the World Championships.
The 19-year-old takes on rivals Craig MacLean and Jamie Staff in the 500m sprint. The race is the official selection event to decide who will ride as first man in the team sprint at the World Championships, which, in turn, will go towards deciding who will be selected for the Olympic Games in the summer.

Kenny was disappointed with his form at the Copenhagen World Cup where he qualified in sixth in the team sprint riding with Jason Queally and Ross Edgar, which was not good enough to get in the ride-off for medals.
He said: "My form's not too bad at the moment.
"I've been resting and trying to get fresh for the weekend's competition.
"My form was really good before I went out to Copenhagen but, to be honest, I was disappointed with my standing lap. But I'm back now and I'm hoping it'll all come good this weekend."
Jamie Staff rode the fastest first lap to qualify fourth riding with Craig MacLean and Chris Hoy, and they were beaten by France in the ride for the bronze medal.
The Track World Championships are also being held at the Manchester Velodrome from March 26-30.
