BOLTON Mantos second team enjoyed a return to winning ways in the Greater Manchester Women's Hockey League Division One when they beat Glossop 4-2.
The mixture of experienced players with the rapidly improving youngsters proved to be a winning combination and the team functioned as an effective unit.
They had to come from behind after Glossop drew first blood and remained ahead until Sarah Grange forced the ball home in a goalmouth scramble.

Glossop went in front again after the break but, after a succession of chances went begging, Bolton forced a number of penalty corners which brought opportunities that were converted into three quick goals, two from Sharron Mitchell and one from Louise Heaney, which stunned the visitors.
