Bring on the Steelers!

Results in the bmibaby Elite League have confirmed that Manchester Phoenix will face Sheffield Steelers in the post-season playoffs.

The War of the Roses tie, to be played over two legs, will see Phoenix travel to Sheffield on Friday March 28, with the return home game on Sunday March 30, with the aggregate winner going forward to the Playoff Finals in Nottingham over the weekend of April 5 and 6.

A Phoenix spokesperson said: "It's the draw we wanted and it's the draw we've got.

"All the games between us this season have been good ones with only one victory each by more than one goal. We've won there and they've won in our building, so both games should be full of good hockey, and lots of tension and passion between the respective groups of supporters."
