HOUGH Fold Ladies have made the jump to Section E with ease, winning both matches.
This week they met Railway Ladies who had the upper hand after an excellent first innings, with sharp fielding and 15 runs from Yvette Purcell, and 10 from Susan Jackson, they led 70-61.
Hough Fold's batting was much improved in the second half, Heidi Duff scored 24, Lynn Witham 18, and Lyndsey Hamlet 12, to win the match 170-115.

Section B teams Bradbury Ladies and The Grapes A were separated by just one point at the interval 124-123. Jodie Worthington, 26 runs, and Sarah Littler, 25, were the first-half top scorers.
Scoring a further 99 runs the Grapes must have thought they were in with a good chance of winning their first game. But it was not to be, as Bradbury with Samantha McCoy, on 30, and Lisa Derbyshire, 18, produced 107 to take the match 230-223.
Apollo have returned to winning ways in Section D this season. They made it two wins out of two this week when they beat K2 Ladies 125-110, top scorer for Apollo was Debbie Liddell with 18.
Walkden CC B have showed no sign of nerves after moving from Section I to F this season, winning both their opening matches with ease.
St Teresa's will be pleased to record their first win against GPM Ladies 177-138, with the top scorer Barbara Thompson with 29.
25th Bolton Ladies started well in Section O by beating Baymare Ladies 210-203, Amber Taylor scoring 59 and Kath Taylor 25.
First round matches takes place in The Chadwick Cup, Dixon, Blackburn, Pike and Horwich Shields. All matches from May 1 start at 7pm.
