BOLTON darts world champion Lisa Ashton reached Saturday's BDO World Championship final with a 2-0 victory over Sharon Prins on Friday.
The 44-year-old Boltonian, nicknamed 'The Lancashire Rose', made short work of her semi-final against her fellow Englishwoman, and has dropped only one set in the three games leading up to the final.
Ashton, of Johnson Fold, is in outstanding form as she looks to retain the world title she won last year in Saturday's big final at Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Green.
She set up the last-four clash against Dutch star Prins with a 2-0 quarter-final victory against fellow England international Trina Gulliver on Thursday night.
Ashton was in imperious form and did not drop a single leg against the nine-time ladies' champion.
She hit 13 ton-plus scores, wrapping the match up with a 74-checkout.
