Derek Kay
THE funeral of Bolton Cricket League stalwart Derek Kay will take place at 9.15am at Walshaw Church on Friday followed by Overdale Crematorium at 10.30am.
Guests are invited to go back to Greenmount Cricket Club afterwards. Donations to the British Heart Foundation.
Mr Kay was a very well known person in the local cricket scene having had a long association with the Bolton League as a player and official and, latterly, assistant groundsman as well as filling many other roles and helping clubs and leagues and developing local cricket in a wide variety of ways.
