THE winners of last year's Bolton News Naps competition are £500 richer after being presented with their prize.

Clean Bowled finished top of the pile in the 2014 competition to find the best – or luckiest – horse racing tipsters in Bolton.

The team from Breightmet, who have competed in the Naps since it first started in the paper around 15 years ago, beat more than 160 other teams to win the cash prize offered by long-time sponsor of the Bolton News Naps, Martin Axford of Anthony Axfords timber merchants.

And now is your chance to give yourselves the opportunity to become this year's winners.

Martin has once again agreed to sponsor the competition which involves teams of four placing an imaginary bet on a horse every Saturday morning during the flat racing season.

The team whose bets gain the most profit over the course of the competition win the £500 prize and engraved trophy.

If you want to enter this year's competition look out for the entry form in the paper or see our online story for details of how to take part.
