AMIR Khan says he would love to fight at the Macron Stadium even more than the MGM Arena in Las Vegas.

The Bolton superstar, who missed out on a superfight against one of the world's top two when Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Manny Pacquiao agreed to fight each other on May 2, will be looking for a new opponent.

And he says he would love a future fight to be at the home of Bolton Wanderers or Wembley Stadium.

Being interviewed by Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson as part of their role as ambassadors for Maxi Nutrition was asked which venue he would most like to fight at.

He answered: "It's definitely got to be the MGM Arena [Las Vegas] because all the biggest names in boxing have fought there.

"But what I think beats that is having a fight in England at somewhere like Wembley Stadium or Bolton Wanderers' stadium with those fans, I think that would be amazing."

Meanwhile, Mayweather has declared his bout with Manny Pacquiao on will be the "the biggest fight in boxing history".

Mayweather, who will take a proud 47-fight unbeaten record into the ring, said: "May 2 is when the world stops – it's Mayweather Pacquiao, it's the biggest fight in boxing history.

"This is a fight that the world can't miss. I'm in the gym working and dedicating myself to the sport because I have never wanted to win a fight so bad in my life.

''May 2 is the fight of the century. It's all about the best fighting the best and Pacquiao is one of the best fighters of this era.

"Everything is about timing and we couldn't have chosen a better time.''
