BOLTON'S Craig Steadman has been given a dream draw against Ronnie O'Sullivan on his debut in the World Snooker Championships.
The 32-year-old will play world number two O'Sullivan in the first round at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre on Tuesday.
He made it to the finals after several near misses in previous years by winning three qualifying games, including a notable scalp of Indian Open champion, Michael White.
And the Farnworth ace says it is an honour to be drawn against one of the all-time greats of the game.
"I played really well against Michael and then I didn't play my best snooker against Jamie Burnett but I got the job done.
"For me, to play the world number one at the world's best tournament is an honour, there is no other word for it," said Steadman.
"If you can't get up for the World Championships and for playing at the Crucible then there is something wrong with you.
"I'm determined to enjoy myself."
