David Tonge (57) and Andrew Lane (40no) helped the hosts rack up 216-8.

And Chris Barrow took 4-27 to bowl the hosts out for 123 with Haroon Farhat top-scored with 42.

Meanwhile Saeed Anwar Jnr notched a century as Kearsley dumped Farnworth out of the Hamer Cup.

His partnership with Andy Griffiths (56) was the springboard for Kearsley to post 243-8 – Kamran Sajid the most notable bowler taking 3-48.

In reply, Ross Sutton scored 50 and Melbourne Austin hit 32, but Farnworth fell for 159 with Mohammed Jameel taking three wickets.

Phil Cavill smashed 88 runs as Horwich cruised to victory against Little Lever.

Ayaz Hanif (52) and Simon Anderton (22) gave last year’s runners up a decent start but Babar Naeem (5-49) and Lewis Haydock (3-19) impressed with the ball to bowl them out for 152.

Cavill led the Horwich attack hitting 88no as his side replied to the loss of only one wicket.

Adam Street (4-35) and Amal Dalugoda (3-20) led with the ball as Egerton dismissed Astley Bridge for 110.

Anthony Clegg scored 46 in reply as his side recorded victory to the loss of only four wickets.

Mark Stewart took his second seven-wicket haul of the weekend as Greenmount dismissed Tonge for 38.

Travis Townsend finished on 26no as Greenmount closed the target down for the loss of two wickets.

Tom Liversedge (79), Anthony Jones (35) and Phil Dickinson (35) all scored high as Bradshaw posted 234-9 against Eagley – Adam Warburton (4-56) and Awais Zia (3-88) the notable bowlers.

Paul Rayment (60no), Will Shuttleworth (51), and David Shuttleworth’s (38) reply fell short as two batters picked up injuries forcing them to play out the game with eight men – consequently losing by 66 runs.
