The changes have been made because of a minority who have insisted on spoiling our previous comment facilities.

We will immediately ban anyone who vandalises the site by posting on it personally abusive messages or obscenities.

If the problems persist, we will approach internet service providers to ban troublesome users.

Our new forum will allow the majority to take part in a reasoned, constructive debate.
