WEST Indies legend Alvin Kallicharran helped Blackrod to their first victory of the season over Flixton.
The 59-year-old, who averaged just over 44 in 66 Test Matches for his country between 1971 and 1981, went to the crease at the end of Blackrod's massive 242-6, and scored six not out.
His influence went further, however, as he coaches Blackrod's new signings Asif and Saif Bhojani, the former scoring 53 on Saturday.

Chris Mulligan played his part in an opening stand of 122, eventually going for 33 which included one six.
His fellow opener hit 10 sixes and 14 fours, including four sixes in the first four balls of one over which took him to his century. Their 259-5 eclipsed Walshaw's 258-8, during which Maqsood took 4-111.

Azam Shah was Daisy's star in their two-wicket victory at Atherton.

Paul Keenan scored 40 on his first game back at Atherton after spells at Leigh and Milnrow.

Darcy Lever's Dominic Gavin and pro Chris Street bowled their side to victory over Elton with 6-44 and 3-51 respectively.
The Bury side were all out for 102, 80 runs short of joint fourth-placed Darcy's total, of which Jack Southworth hit 71 and Jordan Thornley 43.
Matt Cutt was the key figure in Astley and Tyldesley's 68-run victory over Golborne, scoring 83 of his side's 215-6.
