TWO wins in a week gave Salford Waggon the Division Three league title to go with the Division Three cup they won a couple of weeks ago.
A 2-0 win over Golborne Parkside and a 7-0 thrashing of Seedfield Sports Vets secured the title for the Waggon with Brooke bagging a hat-trick and Fagan, Crossley, Cottrill and Shields all chipping in to make it a double winning first season in vets football.
The Crofters finished their season in style by thumping Breightmet United 5-1 with a Martin Steel hat-trick, along with goals from Harry McCormican and Kevin Taylor doing the damage.
ICO Pal rounded off their season with a 4-0 win over Ainsworth B to finish in third place.
In Division Two, Ainsworth A drubbed The Pineapple 6-1 thanks to a Lindsay hat-trick and two from Holland, as well as a 25-yard screamer from Kernaghan.
The Sam Ashworth Final will be played at Breightmet United on Sunday, May 18, between Peake Fitness and Walkden Fives at 11am.
