IN the first round of the divisional cups most teams received a bye and out of the small number of matches played there were no major upsets.
However, in the Brian Gittins Cup for the Premier and Division One teams, first division Hilton C on plus three beat Premier team Little Lever B 6-3.
The win included three wins for Brett Haslam, two for Lee Davenport and one for Dave Marland with Ian Lansdale winning two for Little Lever and Roy Costello one.
