division One team Nomads A came out on top with a 5-4 win over Premier team Little Lever A to lift the Brian Gittins Cup.
Nomads, on three points start, kicked off with Dennis Collier beating Ron Durose 11-9 in the fifth game.
Little Lever then moved ahead to lead 3-1, but Nomads recovered to draw level at 3-3. Graham Jeffries followed with a win for Little Lever, but Derek Watmough then won what perhaps the decisive set of the night when he beat Durose over four games.

The on-form Collier then clinched the win for Nomads in the final set of the night and complete his treble.

Little Lever A made their second final appearance in the Warburton Cup against fellow Premier team Burning Desire A.
Played from scratch three wins by Lyndsey Reynolds and two by Paul Cicchelli gave Burning Desire their 5-4 win.
From a 1-1 scoreline they quickly established a 4-1 lead, before Little Lever scored again to bring the score to 4-3, but, Reynolds, who was in outstanding form, won her third set to win the trophy for Burning Desire.

Although Stuart Wallis, the number one player for Withins waived his start, he was not troubled on the night. John Dodd won the consolation set for BEN when he beat Debbie Wilson in straight games.

The rapidly improving junior Hilton M team scored an impressive 6-3 win over Little Lever E to lift the Ron Hindle Memorial Trophy
Three wins by Callan Tolladay, two by Joe McFarlane, and one by Tim Fields gave them victory.
Played from scratch, Martin Archer won the opening set for Little Lever, but the juniors established a 3-1 lead before Martin scored again for Little Lever. Hilton followed with two wins to clinch the match, with the final two sets shared to give the 6-3 score
