HULTON Wanderers and Astley Bridge made it through to the next round of the Open Cup.
Patrick Furey and Chris Hutchinson found the net to help Wanderers secure a 2-1 win at home to Brindley Arms, whose goal was scored by Lewis Porter.

Showman's Arms boosted their faint hopes of a late-season surge to the Division Two title with a 4-2 victory at Greyhound. They remain 19 points behind leaders Great Lever Wanderers but have five games in hand.
Rumworth Hall are six points back with a game in hand after they beat bottom side Rose and Crown 8-3.
Micky Hall led the scoring with four goals, while Danny Kerrigan, Gaz Collquitt, Mark Grundy and Cris Cancalis shared the other four.
