TIM Ream has been included in the USA squad for next month’s Gold Cup.

The Wanderers defender has retained his place after coach Jurgen Klinsmann whittled down his party to 23 this week.

After a friendly against Guatemala next week, the US will look to reach its sixth straight Gold Cup final in a qualifying group that includes Honduras, Haiti and Panama.

If Klinsmann’s side retain their trophy outright, the US would qualify for the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia. If another nation wins the tournament they would meet the US in a play-off.
