FORMER Wanderers loanee Saidy Janko is on the verge of signing for Celtic.
The Swiss youth international full-back was last night in talks with the Glasgow club, having reached the end of his contract with Manchester United.
Neil Lennon brought him in from Old Trafford in January in a deal that saw Andy Kellett move in the opposite direction. He scored on his debut against Fulham but struggled with a lower back injury and made just six starts.
Janko would join Dedryck Boyata, another ex-Bolton loanee, at Parkhead.
But his arrival is likely to trigger the sale of Adam Matthews – the full-back linked several times with Wanderers since Lennon came to the club. QPR are reportedly lining up a £1.5million bid.
