ROB Hall will be the next player shipped out by Wanderers as Neil Lennon continues to try to raise funds to make a mark on his squad.

The former West Ham winger is poised to join Championship new boys MK Dons on a season-long loan, which should give the concerned manager an opportunity to bring in a goalkeeper or a right-back.

Hall had success with the Dons last season, helping them to promotion, but has failed to impress at Wanderers since his £450,000 move from Upton Park, set by tribunal last summer.

His exit frees up enough wages to make a play for Bournemouth keeper Lee Camp, or potentially offer ex-Charlton Athletic defender Lawrie Wilson a deal.

And while Lennon would not go into specifics, he hinted at his frustration at the lack of movement in the transfer market with the new season just over a fortnight away.

“The money just isn’t there at the moment,” he told The Bolton News. “There may be some movement going out in the next few days, we hope, so that might free up some wages.

“It’s not my squad at the moment because I’ve only brought three players in.

“That’s why all the work is going into moving players out at the moment. It’s not ideal but that’s how it goes.”

Camp has 12 months remaining on his contract at Bournemouth but reports have suggested he could be made available on a free transfer after slipping down to third choice behind Artur Boruc and Adam Federici.

Bristol City and Nottingham Forest have also made enquiries about the 30-year-old, who started last season as first-choice for Eddie Howe.

Full-back Wilson will play another trial game against Oldham Athletic tomorrow night before Lennon makes up his mind – but with options so short on the right side of defence, the indications are that a contract is there to be won for the 27-year-old, who finished last season with Rotherham United.

Lennon had been keen to sign former Newcastle United defender Ryan Taylor but after making him an offer, interest from elsewhere in the Championship – namely Nottingham Forest and Brighton – appears to have scuppered his chances.

Wanderers have also yet to fix up a contract for Emile Heskey, who made his first pre-season outing at Morecambe, or Stephen Dobbie, who scored at the Globe Arena.
