ROB Hall will spend the final 12 months of his Wanderers contract on loan at MK Dons.

The move, mooted for some time, has finally gone through on the eve of today’s friendly at Port Vale.

Hall had impressed Neil Lennon with his performance in Friday night’s 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe United – but it wasn’t enough to make the Whites boss change his mind about keeping him at the Macron.

“It was an easy decision. I'm just happy that I'm back here and I can't wait to get going with the lads again,” Hall told the MK Dons website today.

“Coming here last year and being given the freedom to go out and play my football revived my whole season. I got on really well with the gaffer and the staff and the lads were great too.

“This was an opportunity I couldn't turn down - at home, playing for a great club like MK Dons.”

Dons boss Karl Robinson believes he can get the kind of form out of Hall that he did towards the end of last season, when the former West Ham winger helped his side to promotion from League One.

“It was clear for all to see at the back end of last season what Hally is capable of and he's shown tremendous hunger and desire to want to come here for a third spell - we are more than happy to have him back too.

“He's an exciting young English talent and he'll add another dimension to our attack.”

Hall made just 35 appearances for Wanderers but proved a costly purchase – with a tribunal setting his fee at £450,00, which is understood to have risen as high as £750,000 when linked to appearances and bonuses.
