DIGMOOR stay top of Division One of the BSF Over-35s League on goal difference despite losing at home to two Dave Fashou goals for Atherton Town, but second-placed Mitchells Unicorn have a game in hand.

A Stephen Lockett hat-trick, plus further efforts from Joseph Ashurst and Daniel Butters gave them a 5-1 home win over Radcliffe Old Boys A for whom Scott Kelly scored a consolation goal.

It was a bad day for Radcliffe Old Boys because their ‘B’ team lost by the same score at home to Queen Lizzy.

Clint McLaughlin scored a brace with Lee Whiteley, Mark Flanagan and Trevor Hill added on apiece to go fourth in the table with a game in hand on third placed Moorside Rangers who had a 2-2 draw at home to North Walkden.

Andy Haughton and Tony Weall scored for the home side and Mark Morris for Walkden.

Cheers Bar crept above North Walkden with a 3-2 win over Turton Bay Mare.

Dave Barrett scored twice and Daniel Jordan netted a penalty for Cheers while Andy Clarke and Stu Williams were on target for Turton.

Division Two had two games postponed, including BLGC who temporarily share a pitch at Little Lever School while their new facilities are under construction.

Barr Hill Priory top the Division following their 5-2 win away at Chorlton Sports. Noel Coleman and Mark Glover scored for the home team, but Cox and Meers scored two each for Barr Hill and an own goal gave them five.

Golborne Parkside are just a point behind the leaders, but with a game in hand and took the points from a nine-goal extravaganza as they beat PF Bury 6-3.

Neil Wood scored two and Mark Glover, Wayne Hampson and Lee Smith one each to out-do two by Rob Low and one by Martin Kodjer for Bury.

Old Boltonians are third in the table after beating Mersey Valley Vets by the only goal of the game, scored by Simon Neil.

Division Three again produced some high-scoring matches, topped by Heaton Casuals and Elton Liberals who scored seven.

Heaton are still without a point despite scoring three through Dave Robinson, Ste Pendlebury and Mark Bradshaw, but visitors Elton Liberals went one better as Jack Coyle scored two, Owen Coyle and Paul O’Keefe one each for their second win.

Dobbies A beat Dobbies B team 5-1 with two goals from Dave Malius and one each by Mark Crossan, Carl Howard and Anthony Healey while Dave Hanlon scored for Dobbies B to avoid a whitewash.

Spotland Social dropped points at Breightmet United B in a 2-2 draw, but remain top, one point above four chasing teams, two of whom have a game in hand. Rob Howarth scored both the Breightmet goals. Ainsworth B are one of the teams chasing the leaders and won 4-2 at home to bottom side Radcliffe Old Boys C.

Rob Bentley scored a hat-trick and Jimmy Bamber the other whilst Paul Murray and Mark Owen goals kept Radcliffe in the game.

Bolton Wyresdale are second on goal difference after winning away at Cross Guns who are also in the chasing group of four. Two goals from Ste Carney and one by Simon Walsh gave them the points.
