WANDERERS have taken former Nottingham Forest and Stoke City defender Danny Collins on trial.
The 35-year-old Wales international left Rotherham United at the end of last season and has more than 400 career appearances under his belt.
Collins came on as a late substitute in the 2-0 victory over York City at Bootham Crescent and is expected to train with the squad at Lostock next week.
Full-back Neal Eardley also featured for the Whites, coming on for another trialist, Frazer Richardson, who tweaked his knee ligaments and is now unlikely to feature again in pre-season.
Ex-Brighton centre-half Gordon Greer, who had been in the Wanderers camp up until late last week, played for Blackburn Rovers in their 1-1 friendly draw against Blackpool.
