WANDERERS goalkeeper Ben Amos has moved to Championship side Cardiff City on a season-long loan.

The former Manchester United keeper completed the switch on Friday after finding himself behind summer signing Mark Howard in the pecking order at the Macron.

Amos, aged 26, has been one of the bigger earners on Wanderers’ books since his switch to the Whites from Old Trafford, initially on loan, in January last year.

He has made 53 appearances for the club, his last coming in the their EFL Cup defeat at Blackpool earlier this month.

Amos's departure leaves Wanderers without any senior cover for tomorrow's trip to Charlton, with less than a week to go before the transfer window closes.
