MICHELLE Kirkman-Ryan hit another hat-trick as Wanderers Ladies beat local rivals Blackburn Community 6-1.

John Oliver’s side, who are top of the North West Women’s Regional League Premier Division, came back from a goal down with the other goals coming from midfielders Shelley James, Shel Saunders and Andi Reece.

Wanderers’ reserves beat Burnley 3-1 to climb above the Clarets into second place in the Lancashire Women’s County League.

Nicola Whitelegg put the Whites ahead with a 35-yard shot and, after Burnley equalised, Ruthie Niamh’s calm finish and Billie Boardman’s header from Amanda Smalley’s corner sealed the points.

Wanderers’ development squad are in desperate need of a new keeper after losing their regular number one.
