WALKDEN CC finally got off the mark with a first win in their ninth game of the Division One season.

Mark Morris scored twice and Neil Matthews added the other in a 3-2 win over Radcliffe Old Boys A.

Daten’s Mark Shannon scored the only goal of the game against second-placed Salford Waggon to move level with them on points.

Atherton Town moved fourth with a 3-1 win at Pineapple.

Gary Peachey and Darryl Martinus gave them an early lead and while Mark Sloan pulled a goal back for Pineapple, Dave Fashou struck to secure the points.

John Done scored a hat-trick for Division Two leaders Henighans in a 5-3 win against bottom side Bromley Cross.

Martin Walker and Phil Hales were also on the scoresheet, while Nick Hawken, Mark Rothwell and Martin Willis hit the target for Bromley.

Radcliffe Old Boys B beat Dobbies 4-1 to leapfrog them in to top spot in Division Three table.

Stewart Spensley, Noel Shine, Ste Goodridge and Richard McLaughlin put Radcliffe into an unassailable lead before Chris Williams scored a consolation for Dobbies.

Bottom side Victory Vets were outgunned 4-3 by Elton Liberals. Dean Taylor scored two for the home side and Alan Done got the other.

Goals from Gary Corr and Paul Gibson helped Bolton Wyresdale earn a valuable 2-2 draw against Failsworth Home Guard.

Ian Mulqueeny and Paul Atherton were on the scoresheet for Crossguns as they lost 4-2 at home to Golborne Parkside.
