FARNWORTH United set up a barnstorming finish to the Division One title race after winning 3-2 at championship favourites Morris Dancers to stay top.
The third-placed Dancers were six points behind United but with three games in hand going into the match.
Yet goals from Sammy Lee, Gaz French and Daz Ashworth scored for Farnworth, which cancelled out efforts from Nathan Monson and Matthew Carter for Dancers, saw the pendulum swing in their favour.
Elsewhere in the top tier, bottom club Mosesgate secured just their fourth point of the season with a 2-2 draw at home to mid-table Queen Lizzy.
There was also drama at the top of Division Two as second-placed Brindley Arms closed the gap to the top to just one point following their 2-0 win at leaders Great Lever Wanderers.
Brindley will go top if they win their game in hand.
