FOOTBALL: Radcliffe Borough entertain their UniBond Division One North rivals Mossley tomorrow hoping for their fourth successive league win.

Confidence at Stainton Park is sky high after their Manchester Premier Cup first round victory at Salford City by a stunning 6-2 margin on Tuesday night.

Boro take Vodkat North West Counties Division One side Chadderton on Tuesday night in the home quarter-final of the competition they won at Oldham’s Boundary Park two seasons ago.

Troubled Leigh Genesis are still unsure of the quality of team they will turn out after their backer pulled out.

Manager Garry Flitcroft is determined to fulfil the club’s fixtures even if it means playing youngsters from their junior teams.

Genesis travel to struggling Salford City tomorrow, a side with just one win at home in the league this season.

It would appear their chances of a play-off spot have disappeared unless another backer steps in quickly, but Flitcroft still has the support on the pitch of Matt Jansen and his brother Steven.

FC United travel to Durham City tomorrow on the back of a disappointing return to home action on Wednesday night.

The Rebel Reds, who had former top scorer Kyle Wilson making his debut after re-signing on a month’s loan from Macclesfield, were held to a scoreless draw by Frickley Athletic after having their other new signing, midfielder Adriano Rigoglioso, sent off just 20 minutes into his debut.
