FOOTBALL: Radcliffe Borough’s UniBond Division One North home match against Mossley was called off because of a frozen pitch.
Boro are due to face Chadderton of the Vodkat North West Counties First Division in the Manchester Premier Cup quarter-final at Stainton Park tonight.
Leigh Genesis were also victims of the weather as their Division One North game at Salford City was also postponed.
In the Premier Division, struggling FC United beat basement club Durham City 2-1.
Second half goals from Joseph Yoffe and Phil Marsh proved enough for the Rebel Reds.
Durham City, who have lost all 22 of their league matches this season, and conceded 110 goals, scored in the 94th minute through Carl Heiniger.
The victory moves Karl Marginson’s men to four places above the relegation zone.
