Genesis win but Colls throw away lead

RELEGATED Leigh Genesis gave themselves something to cheer when they beat Radcliffe Borough in the Evo-Stik Division One North last night.
Nathan McDonald put Genesis ahead on six minutes, and Marvin McDonald doubled the lead on the hour before fourth-bottom Radcliffe pulled one back through Declan Fletcher on 76 minutes.
In the Vodkat League First Division, Atherton Colls threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 at Chadderton.
