RADCLIFFE Borough return to Evo-Stik Division One North action tomorrow looking to build on Tuesday’s FA Cup preliminary round replay win over Atherton Collieries.

Boro host Mossley looking for their first league points of the season after the win against Colls at Stainton Park when they came from behind to win 2-1. And boss Kevin Glendon is banking on improved confidence in his young squad after the cup victory.

Glendon said: “The cup win will give everyone confidence and hopefully we can go back into the league and build on that against Mossley.”

Collieries, meanwhile, travel to Stockport Sports in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase while Daisy Hill kick off their Vase campaign at Cheadle Town.

The third local North West Counties League First Division side, Atherton LR, are in league action tomorrow when they entertain Northwich Flixton Villa looking for a third win of the season.
